2011 Trophy d’Ecosse

The clubs first ever Scottish international competition was an event to remember, 13 nervous skaters and few loyal supporters piled onto a coach at 5am in order to make our allocated practice.

The venue buzzed with another 20 or so teams as our ladies got warmed up and ready for the day ahead. The practices were nervous looking, but the lassies pulled it out of the bag the for the competition skate. Skating to the wicked soundtrack they skated a tidy and precise program, securing themselves a silver medal in the Scottish mixed age category! Kate & Rhiannon are very proud coaches. Well done our very first competitive team, Starlight Rain.
