2018 British Championships

For the first time ever Starlight Synchro took 5 teams to the British Championships in Nottingham.

5 Fantastic skates, every single one of the Starlight teams skating solid & strong performances.

Starlight Blizzard, skating first on the Saturday, skated a new program to Dumbo soundtrack earned a fantastic 15.61 in their first ever Elementary British Championship. They got a level 3 line and a level 2 wheel called and their highest marked element was the creative element at the beginning.

The Adult competition was next on the agenda with brilliant performances from both Starlight Mist & Starlight Rain.

Mist, who got a level 3 wheel and level 2 block called, achieved a 9 place in a massive field of 13 teams, hot on the heels of the 5 places above.

Rain, skated a new personal best and managed to steal the top spot from last years winners. A massive score of 31.57 including a level 3 block, Level 3 intersection and level 4 wheel.

Cyclone skated on Sunday in the tough Preliminary category, they achieved a total score of 17.38 which included a level 4 line. Well done cyclone.

Storm were our last team to compete on the Sunday in the Mixed age category. the team placed a fantastic 6th of 11 teams, with a score of 26.83 including calls for a level 4 line and level 2 no hold, move and line elements.
